Server Position

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for energetic and customer-focused Servers to join our award-winning team at our high volume pizzeria, rated number one in the country. As a Server, you will answer questions pertaining to  the restaurant and our menu, upsell food and beverage items, accurately take orders, serve food to  patrons, and take payment. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet guests warmly and ensure a positive dining experience by anticipating their needs. •Provide estimated wait times and offer knowledgeable recommendations on menu items. •Communicate estimated wait times and seating options to guests accurately and professionally. •Take accurate food and beverage orders, entering them promptly into the POS system. •Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy shifts. 
  • Deliver orders efficiently and address any guest concerns or requests. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dining area in compliance with health regulations. •Process payments accurately and handle cash, credit, and tip reporting responsibly. 
  • Complete opening, closing, and side work tasks to support restaurant operations. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience as a server in a high-volume environment or in a related customer service or food service role  is strongly preferred.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and foster positive guest relationships •Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail. •Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, with a focus on clarity and professionalism. •Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Night and weekend shifts will be required for this position  with the availability to work until close. 
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. •BASSETT and Food Handling certifications required prior to start of employment. 

COMPENSATION

$12.62 per hour + tips *opportunity to earn a competitive income through tips*
