Hiring Restaurant Servers!
Our team at Pequod’s Chicago is interested in hiring servers to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will answer questions about the restaurant and our menu, upsell food and beverage items, accurately take orders, serve food to patrons and take payment. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with proven ability to provide a pleasant and memorable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Explain menu items.
- Clean and prepare the dining areas.
- Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the restaurant.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion.
- Perform other restaurant duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields.
- Ability to build rapport with guests.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- BASSETT and ServSafe Certifications are required before starting.
We are seeking to fill a full-time role, night and weekend availability with the ability to close is required.
