Hiring Restaurant Managers!

To maintain company growth, our team is seeking experienced candidates with proven leadership capabilities to fill full-time front-of-house management positions at Pequod’s Chicago location. Front-of-house managers will be responsible for supervising and coordinating staff and operations to ensure customers have an exceptional experience. Maintaining a balance between all departments and implementing the rules for the benefit of staff and customers is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the working relationship between management and staff.
  • Ensure that company standards are being met and comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Work any and all stations, when needed.
  • Train and re-train employees when necessary.
  • Take direction from upper management to accurately complete projects as assigned.
  • Assume full responsibility for opening and closing procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous management experience is required preferably in a high-volume establishment.
  • Exceptional planning, troubleshooting, and conflict-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary.
  • Flexibility in schedule including the ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations.
  • Servsafe Manager Certification
