Appetizers at Pequod’s Pizza
Pequod’s Pizza is one of the most awarded and recognized pizzerias in the Chicago area and gained a cult following based on its delicious interpretation of our deep-dish. Our customers rave about our “caramelized crust” and we’ve been named one of the top five pizza restaurants in the country.
Pizza isn’t the only thing we do here at Pequod’s and we also have a selection of great appetizers available for pickup, delivery, or dine-in. If you’re planning an order from Pequod’s, consider adding a few of our delicious appetizers. Whether you’re ordering takeout, pickup, or dining-in, these treats will make your meal even better.
Dine-In
The best way to enjoy Pequod’s classic caramelized crust pizza and delicious appetizers is to head to one of our great Chicago-area locations. Our Chicago location is located in Lincoln Park and walk-in availability is limited, especially in the evening. Because of this, it’s best to make a reservation online or contact the restaurant directly to reserve a table. Dine-in hours for the Chicago location are 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to midnight on Sunday.
If you want to book a table for an event with 12 or more people, make sure to make a reservation online and fill out the required information. This will make it easier for us to accommodate your request. While our waits may be long, we have a great neighbor who can make the time pass more quickly. Feel free to swing by Whale Tale Chicago Restaurant and Bar until your table’s available.
We also operate our original Chicago suburbs location in Morton Grove. Like our Chicago location, space is limited, so make sure to get a reservation before you come in to see us. The Morton Grove location is open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday, noon to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Takeout
We know that it’s not always possible to enjoy our award-winning pizza at one of our restaurants, which is why we offer a convenient takeout service. You can peruse the menu for our Chicago or Morton Grove locations at your leisure and place an order online.
If you plan to order from our Chicago location, please wait until you receive a text from us that your order is ready before coming in for pickup. Make sure that you come to the designated pickup area and bring your order confirmation number. Please note that Chicago location pickup is at Whale Tale from 3-10 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Delivery
For your convenience, Pequod’s is proud to offer a delivery service for our neighbors in Chicago and the nearby suburbs. This service covers ready-to-eat meals as well as frozen pizzas. Delivery hours for the Chicago location are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to midnight on Sunday. Wings
Nothing goes better with deep-dish pizza than chicken wings. At Pequod’s we serve our wings in classic flavors, including buffalo, BBQ, and plain. You can also split your order of five or nine wings between two flavors. On the side, you can choose between ranch or blue cheese.
Jalapeno Poppers
Our jalapenos are a delicious blend of spicy jalapeno and creamy cheese, deep fried until golden brown. They’re served with ranch on the side for dipping.
Cheesy Garlic Bread
If you want your garlic bread with an extra kick, you can get it with a layer of melted cheese. On the side, you can choose from marinara, buffalo, ranch, Caesar, blue cheese, honey mustard, creamy garlic, or oil and vinegar.
Garlic Bread
This classic blends savory garlic butter with crispy toast and cheese. It’s a classic side with pizza and other Italian-inspired dishes and comes with a choice of sauce, including marinara, buffalo, ranch, Caesar, blue cheese, honey mustard, creamy garlic, or oil and vinegar.
Zucc
Zucc is living proof that vegetables can be as tasty as anything else. These zucchini medallions are breaded and deep fried, giving them a crunchy texture, and are served with your choice of dipping sauce.
Onion Rings
For those who want something more exciting than fries, we offer crunchy onion rings as the perfect complement to our pizzas. Our onion rings are served with BBQ sauce, but you can add a side of any of our other sauces if you prefer.

Sometimes, the simplest things are the best. That’s why we offer bread and butter as one of our appetizers. Although simple, our fresh Italian bread is anything but boring, and makes a great starter.
Bruschetta
Bruschetta is a traditional Italian appetizer of toasted bread with a variety of different toppings. The most common topping for bruschetta is tomato and basil, which is what we serve at Pequod’s. If you want to add a bit of freshness to your meal, bruschetta might be the perfect option.
Chicken Tenders
